Lauska CD13 (2007)
Lots of Latvian bagpipes and big skin-headed drums, red robes, occasional male
vocal intoning (and an awful guest operatic soprano, but just on one track).
Live probably impressive, a tribal smoke-spectacle, but the rather dry recording
doesn’t make the most of the sound. Musically, though, much more substantial
than the band’s debut CD. www.lauska.lv
