Balkanarama, no number (2000)

Instrumental and vocal nine-piece from the Seattle Balkan scene. Sure, they’re not real Balkans, but they don’t pretend to be; they just like the music, have a good relaxed feel for it, with natural, unforced singing and playing, and getting Americans dancing to odd-numbered rhythms can’t be a bad thing.
