Energetic, fuzz-guitars drum-splashy folk-rocking of Estonian regilaul by young 9-piece with no tropical fruit connections. Their exuberant, crowd-stirring treatment, keeping the traditional call-and-response vocal format for regilaul’s minimal melodies and lyrical repetition, works well, particularly in the context of Estonia’s current wave of youth enthusiasm for traditional music. www.diskreetsemangotrio.ee
