Where Dragons Dance
Alula ALU-3004 (2003)

Harps, valiha, chen, whistles, hammered dulcimer, violin, cello and concertina played by US instrument-maker Philip Boulding and kin. Self-composed and Irish plus references from their travels, the music is pleasant enough if unsurprising, but the title, classic new-age booklet notes and indeed the tag “File under New Age/Celtic” do it no favours.
