The women’s’ traditional singing ensemble of the Latvian Academy of Culture with rural women’s work, wedding and outdoor spring and summer songs from several regions of west, central and eastern Latvia sung in traditional unaccompanied polyphonic, unison and solo styles. Singing of variable convincingness, but of interest for the material and styles.
