Hefty wide-screen Sámi rock-pop from attractive gamine-voiced singer-songwriter. Not joik; these are songs, some even in English, but most are based on the melodic outlines of joik, with touches of joik vocables. She delivers an unaccompanied joik as a coda. File next to Mari Boine, perhaps, but this is another modern Sámi expressing her own self. UK distributor is www.discovery-records.com
